Korean Baseball Food Tour: Beyond Hot Dogs and Cracker Jacks!
Calling all baseball fans and foodies!
⚾️ MLB season is heating up, but have you ever wondered what they're munching on at Korean baseball games?
Get ready for a taste explosion, because KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) stadiums are like mini food festivals!
Korean Baseball Food DESTROYS Stadium Snacks!
That's right, forget the usual ballpark fare. We're talking next-level eats like creamy shrimp, firecracker dumplings, and even DIY yogurt ice cream creations.
This ain't your grandpa's baseball food!
MLB Takes Seoul: A Historic Matchup!
You might be surprised to know that Seoul, Korea, recently hosted a special MLB World Tour game!
The LA Dodgers faced off against San Diego Padres in their opening Seoul series and the energy was electric.
Tickets flew out the door faster than a home run ball!

Seoul Stadium Snacks to Make You Drool:

  • Gocheok Sky Dome (Home of the Kiwoom Heroes):
This is where the MLB action went down.

They've also got killer dumplings and a trendy beef tartare with jjolmyeon (spicy cold noodles) combo.
  • Jamsil Baseball Stadium (Home of the LG Twins & Doosan Bears):
A Seoul classic!

Their signature dish is pork belly with kimchi noodles - a flavor party in your mouth!
They also have some seriously good Waffang ice cream, plus classic cream shrimp and even Pizza Hut for those missing a taste of home.
Hit a Home Run with These Regional Eats!
There are ten KBO teams, each with their own stadium and signature snacks.
One stadium I explored is the home of the KT Wiz in Suwon.

Remember that epic yupdduk (fried rice cake) I showed you before?
Yeah, they have those at the ballpark, and let me tell you, they're incredible.
The MVP of Ballpark Bites:

But the real champion here is the BoYoung dumpling and jjolmyeon combo.
This might be the best version on the planet, but it sells out fast, so get there early!
Sweeten Your Steal with Dessert:
No baseball game is complete without some post-win (or commiseration) dessert, right?

This yogurt ice cream with all the toppings lets you create your perfect sweet ending.
It's a little pricey, but trust me, it's a walk-off grand slam of flavor.
Bonus points: Grab a baseball bat-shaped slush for ultimate Instagram cred.
This is Just the First Inning!
These are just a few of the K-Food wonders at Korean baseball stadiums.
There's a whole league of deliciousness waiting to be discovered!
I haven't even been to all the stadiums yet, but you can bet I'll be back with part two soon.
